It's only Wednesday?!?!?!

Well PU didn't play that well last night! I was really excited for the game & thought we would stay right with OSU. After about 5 minutes into the game my excitement turned into frustration. Why couldn't anyone make a shot besides JJ? Where were the rebounds?? blah blah blah!! MANNNNN ...I wish PU would have played better! I guess there is always the next game!

Today does not feel like a Wednesday at all to me! I feel like this week is dragging on (not good) & I am really ready for the weekend already. The doctor I work for is out of the office today & tomorrow because of a death in the family. --- This equals I will be very bored & tired all day!! I have already caught up on all my work & well... just sitting here blogging!

Last night the baby shower was a lot of fun! Brandy got a lot of great gifts & her belly is so cute! Also last night Taylor, Ryan's brother came to visit us! Taylor is so much fun, he always laughs & has a good time! We get along great & he is really like a brother to me too! While I was at the baby shower the boys went to dinner together. Then Amber & Sara came over & we all hung out & watched the boilers! They guys stayed up much later than me (because I had to work today) & finished a case of beer they bought! The thought of finishing a case makes me want to get sick for them. I'm excited though because they were originally going to breakfast, but because they slept in they are meeting me for lunch in a few minutes! We are going to get CHINESE :) If you know me, you know this makes me very happy! lol (its the little things)

baby shower

Tonight after work I am going to Lafayette for old coworkers baby shower!! The baby shower is @ Arni's so I can't wait to devour a Arni's junior! I am so excited to see everyone I used to work with & most importantly see Brandy's baby bump! I am acting like I haven't seen them in forever but it has only been a couple weeks. I just really appreciate my old coworkers because of my work experience now.

I love baby shower (& wedding showers) they are so much fun! I love seeing all the little gifts, especially the little outfits. Brandy is having a boy & naming him Jace (which I think is such a cute name) & I can't wait to see his little face in person. I started working with Brandy a couple years ago & she is so kind, friendly & very level headed. She will make a great mommy!

After the shower I am driving back to Indy to CHEER ON THE BOILERS :)

Ryan's interview

*Ryan's update*
Scotty's -- Ryan said his interview went well. He said it was really easy to talk to the guy & he already has a second interview with a different manager next week. Ryan really thinks he would like the Scotty's brand. He said everyone was very nice!! Scotty's is like something Ryan would like to own some day, so I think it would be a great experience for him!!
Applebee's-- his interview got moved. He was suppose to have it Tuesday & it would have been his last interview. He only has to meet with the general manager of the whole northside of Indiana. The general manager has such a busy schedule it has been hard to schedule around Ryan's work schedule.

What ever happened to people honoring their word??
A situation in a family members life has made me wonder about people.

I always look for the best in every person & I want to trust them until they give me reason not to. I was always taught to honor my word & to be honest. I really appreciate my parents for instilling in me the values that I now carry.

Sometimes I forget that not everyone was taught the same values & manners that I was. I understand everyone grows up differently & I that different people experience different diversity. BUT (big BUT) it's your word!!!

I believe if you can't honor your word, what can you honor? I am so thankful for the friends & family I surround myself. They are simply amazing. I honestly don't think I would be the person I am today with out the great friendships I've made. I truly believe you are who you surround yourself with.

Hair appt tonight

Tonight I am getting my hair cut & a facial!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very excited for the facial. Ryan got me a package in September that he paid $50 for & it included a facial, hair style, manicure, 30 minute massage & eyebrow waxing. Its for a local salon, La Dolce all 5 of the items you can upgrade (if you want) & tonight I am upgrading the hair style to a cut & style. It will cost me an extra $19 for the hair cut!

OHHH BOY do I need a hair cut ... my hair is currently past the middle of my back & I am thinking about getting 5 inches taken off. I write this now but I am a baby when it comes to changing my hair! I know people say "its only hair" pshhhh I don't care, I still don't want it to look like a chop job or that I did it myself. I don't really know why I hate getting my hair cut but I DO! When I lived in Lafayette I didn't mind it because I went to the same lady for a while but now that I live in Indy I haven't found a hairstylist that I love. Katelyn recommended someone but I have yet to schedule with her & I figured I would use this package. Main reason = it will only cost me $19. We will see how this hair cut turns out ... I AM HOPING FOR THE BEST :)

Usually when I go into a new hair salon the only thing I tell the stylist is I have the WORLDS WORST cowlick in my bangs & I want to stay away from the look of layers that some flip out & some flip under. Can't wait to go to the salon tonight! I wish I didn't already use the massage because I COULD REALLY USE A MASSAGE today!!

Relaxing Weekend :)

Wow this weekend was exactly what I needed :)
Friday was long night with friends but we had so much fun! After the Jeff vs Fishers game (Jeff lost :/) We went out in Broad Ripple & danced the night away!!
Saturday was a recovery day for me. I don't know if its because I'm getting older or because my lack of sleep during the week but it was all I could do on Saturday to keep my eyes open! It probably didn't help that I watched movies & TV all day in bed!
Sunday Ryan's mom & brother Ben came to town & we went to lunch @ Coopers Hawk Winery! It was great! When we got there we did a wine tasting & it was so good. Ryan is a red wine kind of guy & I love whites & sparkling wines - so we never like the same wines. We had a great lunch & it was nice to see Ryan's mom & brother. After lunch & hanging with them for a little bit Ryan & I went over to Katelyn & Ryan's to watch the Jets game!! GOOOOO JETS & #81! I picked the Jets to win & Ryan's whole family gave me crap but I knew they would come out with the W! Katelyn made a great dinner & I got to try something new! Have any of you ever had cabbage & noodles? Well I've never tried it but I did last night & it was great!! She also made Chicken, Sausage, onions & peppers!! YUMMY DINNER KATE :)
It was so nice to have the weekend off with Ryan. I'm really jealous though because he works today & then has Tuesday & Wednesday off! Ryan has been looking for new career opportunities & we received good news over the weekend... ... ... this week Ryan has two interviews!
He has been interviewing with Applebee's & this will be his 3rd interview & then he also has an interview with Scotty's Brewhouse. He is excited about both & hopes to find a job that he can gain experience in managing a bar. I will keep you updated on what happens with these interviews.

Thursday night

I think Thursday is a really good TV night :) Here is my line up for the night. Unfortunately some of the shows are on at the same time but that is where our DVR comes in handy! What did I do before this thing? lol

8pm WIPEOUT- this show is hilarious!

9pm- Real Housewives of Beverly Hills - I don't really know why I like this show but I like watching all the different locations.

My favorite would have to be Real Housewives of New Jersey!
9pm - Grey's Anatomy -I can't wait for this episode! I love watching this show! My friend Sara & I usually watch this together & she always laughs at me because I make medical comments and she always say "Tiff its just a show" haha I can't help it

Private Practice is on @ 10 & it is newer to me! I DVR it & catch up on it when I can. I love any hospital show, they are very interesting to me!

THEN FOR THE GRAND FINALE ....DRUM ROLL PLEASE (INSERT DRUM ROLL SOUND)

JERSEY SHORE :) - this will be the second episode of the season! I think this show is hilarious & the people are out of this world lol

live for the weekends

WOW it has been a week since I've last blogged.
This week has flown by. I can't believe it is almost Friday again!! I AM REALLY EXCITED BECAUSE I LIVE FOR THE WEEKENDS!!
This weekend Ryan has the whole weekend off (which never happens). If you can't tell I'm excited. Usually on the weekends I feel bad because I hang out with my sister Amber & friends and Ryan can't because he has to get up at 4:30ish.
This weekend should be pretty relaxing, we do not have a ton of plans...yet.
Friday night we are going to the JEFF @Fishers game. My friend Sara's brother plays for Jeff, so we are going to cheer on #22!!!! After the game we will probably venture into Broad Ripple with some of our friends. Saturday I have a baby shower in Lafayette. I am hoping the weather cooperates so I can attend.
It has been snowing in Indianapolis for almost the whole week!! I'm so over the snow & ready to move somewhere tropical. Some people say snow is pretty but the only time I like snow is when I am in my apartment & don't need to leave. I hate driving, walking or being in snow. Hopefully the weather people are wrong & all the snow misses us.

no car payment - √

I AM SO EXCITED!!!! AS OF THIS MORNING I PAID OFF MY CAR LOAN & MY CREDIT CARD :)

I don't have the best car, I bought it myself after my freshman year of college. My car is a 2002 Grand Am white 4 door. After years of paying a low car payment, this last year I've been able to double up & make larger payments & FINALLY IT IS ALL PAID OFF!! I don't want to say the T word (trade-in) because then she (I assume she is a she lol) will start giving me problems. Last time I mentioned the T word she broke down on the side of the road & ending up costing us $900 in repairs! SO I am going to ride this one out for a bit! It will be nice to not have a car payment!

Archie's Christmas Present

Ryan's mom got Archie tons of Christmas presents!! He is one lucky beagle, his grandma love him so much. One of the toys he got was a rope with cow hooves on it. OH MY ...HOW HE LOVES THIS TOY! It keeps him busy for hours! The only bad thing about the cow hooves is they stink soooo bad!! I thought they would be synthetic cow hooves (what sense does that make). Once Archie started chewing on them I knew they weren't, they smell like poop! Normally Archie likes to lay his treats on my lap or leg for support ( I think b/c he doesn't have thumbs lol) but this is one treat I will not let him come near me with!!
Since Archie was a puppy we've always bought all of our toys online through http://www.petedge.com/! If you have a dog or cat you should definitely look into this website, they have such great deals!

snooze button

I have a real problem...

I always hit the snooze button!! You might think this isn't really a big problem but not only do I hit the snooze sometimes I hit dismiss which is right next to snooze on my phone. LIKE THIS MORNING!!!! I have to be at work @ 7 & my alarm is usually set for 5:45 but today I woke up at 6:50!!!!

I have great intentions of waking up on time & I'm not a cranky morning person when I do get up but I HAVE A HARD TIME WAKING UP TO MY ALARM!! It has gotten so bad that I set my alarm at a time that I know I can hit the snooze 2 times! What can I do to quit hitting the snooze button? I've already tried moving my phone where I can't reach it but I still go back to bed? I've tried using an actual alarm but I cant stand the sound of a real alarm. My alarm sound on my phone is soft but annoying. This is something I am really going to work on... NO more snooze button for me!! :) We will see how this goes!!

Weekend fun

I'm done w/ my 30 day challenge!!!!!! I really hope this makes me blog more because I really enjoy it. I just don't want to find myself saying the same things & being boring!

This weekend has been pretty relaxing.

Friday night was NYE! Ryan and I went downtown with a big group of friends. We went to Bartinis & it was so busy!! It was also very loud & because of that I found myself yelling a lot to chat with friends. I got a new years kiss from my hubby, we celebrated & danced the night away with friends. Since I was yelling a lot on Friday I haven't been able to talk normally. My voice is a mixture of a middle school boy & a little girl. As you know I was sick all week & I am sure going out Friday didn't help me one bit. But hey its only NYE one day out of the year! Got to live it up!

Saturday I didn't do anything. I went to Le Peep with a group of friends & had a great brunch. Later that night when everyone else went out to the Broad Ripple bars, Sara & I stayed in and watched Its Complicated. It was a really good movie but not very realistic.

Today I did some laundry, went to the grocery store, cleaned a little bit & WATCHED THE COLTS WIN!!!!! I'm so glad they beat Tenn & cant wait for next week when the Jets come to town. I can't believe the weekend is almost over & I have to go back to work. Hopefully tomorrow wont be to crazy at work. Here are some pictures of NYE :) xoxo
