New Job

Ryan came back from Vegas w/ all of this teeth!!!!! He looked like death and was so dehydrated when he walked through the door but made it back safely. From the stories he told me & the few pictures he took I could tell he had a blast & it was definitely a trip to remember.
As I said in an earlier post I have been staying in Lafayette a lot because I've been working full time there. I haven't really looked for a medical job here because I haven't known what I want to do or where life is heading for me. I have been applying to nursing schools and also did know if I wanted a full time job.
Last week I went to two different interviews and got 2 different job offers!! Both the jobs were very similar, one is for an endocrinologist group & the other was for an internal medicine group. Monday I officially took the position with the Internal Medicine group. I am really excited to finally be back in Indy full time and not driving back & forth to Lafayette. I will start August 30th and I am really nervous. The office is located in Zionsville & only 15 mins away from our apartment. There are only two Doctors and they are both women. I worked for a woman Dr before & really enjoyed it. It is true what people say though... women doctors are harder to work for & they do expect a little more but I don't mind this. I think every doctor is different & I look forward to learning & developing relationships with the people I work with.
I only work 3 more days in Lafayette & I am DONE!!!!!

TWO SHOUT OUTS to my fellow bloggers...
1. Katelyn's birthday was Tuesday 8/17 & she turned 25 :) She is an amazing friend and I just thought I would give her some BIRTHDAY LOVE <3
2. Jake & Roxanne announced they are expecting a little baby. I am so happy for them & they will make great parents!! CONGRATS to the Standefords!!! Hope you have an easy pregnancy Rox :)

forgot to post this... oops

So I thought I posted this blog update on 8/12 but when I logged on today I didnt see it ... well because I never POSTED IT ...oops! SO here it is ...

I love WEDDINGS :) I love planning & attending them! Ryan & I went to our friend, Amy & Matt Saba's wedding this last weekend. It was great! Matt graduated from IU & Amy graduated from PU so it was nice to see two groups of friends together & we all had a blast. They met on Spring Break a few years ago & have been together ever since. They are a fun couple & I am so happy for the two of them. Here are a few pics from the day!

Mr. & Mrs. May & Mr. & Mrs. Saba

The Girls :) The RYANS

Ryan is leaving for Vegas on Friday for Murr's Bachelor party (in above picture)! I am so jealous because Ryan & I talked about going to Vegas & still have not been. I AM SO EXCITED for him though because he will have a blast. I keep reminding him that he needs to come back with all of his teeth & their hotel room better not look like The Hangover lol ! I think there are about 9 guys going to celebrate & I hope they have a blast. I am sure when Ryan comes home on Sunday night he will just want to sleep & recover.

Keeping up with Tiff :)

Last weekend we had Katelyn's bachelorette party in Chicago & it was AWESOME!! All of us had a blast. To start out the night Kate opened her presents, we then went out for RITA's at a Mexican restaurant down the street, came back to the hotel & got all dolled up.
To start out the night we went to Brandos for a preparty then onto the "show" called the Dream Boys. This was probably the highlight of our night... I don't think Ive ever laughed so hard. Next we went to Sound Bar & then ended with Bon V. The whole night we had a limo & it was great!!

The Group w/ our Limo :) The beautiful BRIDE & I We used a company called VIP Parties & I would definitely recommend them & use them again. If you are every throwing a bachelorette or any other party you should definitely look into their company!
Tomorrow I have an interview @ a Dr.'s office close to our apt. I am really nervous & always feel so strange interviewing & presenting myself. I also don't really know if I want the position. It would be Monday - Friday 8-5. I don't mind the hours but working 5 days a week & not having a 1/2 day might be bad. Before when I worked 5 days I never got anything done! I would be really excited to get offered a position in Indy & it would be great to live with my hubby :) Even if I don't get the position I will be back to Indy very soon! I can't wait!
In Lafayette I've been floating to different positions within the Clinic & I really think "floating" is not for me. I like floating because I am learning a lot about the different departments! I really like seeing the specialty departments & meeting the people I used to refer patients to. I don't like not knowing everything about the department. I don't like getting moved around depending on the day & never knowing where I am going to work. This week I will be back at my home department though so that will be refreshing. I will finally feel like I know what I am doing :)

I am really trying hard to keep this updated & so far I think I'm doing a good job (pat on the back)
